You do not have to be at a SMART board, or even at school. All you need is an internet connection and a computer.
The focus of these sessions will be two-fold:
introduce a computer or web-based resource or technology-based tool and
demonstrate a pedagogical application for your classroom.
From there, you can use your imagination to see the possibilities for these powerful connections for you and your students. These will not provide an in-depth exploration of any tool, but further assistance will be available from your district technology mentor team.
